I’m not happy with my current theme. I really wanted a three-colomn design but I couldn’t find one that suited by obsessive-compulsive desires. There’s this theme that I really really like – it’s Flisterz FTW 2.0 theme. A friend’s site (Atma Xplorer) currently uses a modified FTW 2.0 theme and it suits the overall feel of his content. And yet, the theme is still a bit bland for my tastes.
IDEAS
So I’m currently thinking of ripping some ideas off my current theme. I really like the background image and the RSS chicklet so MAYBE those would possibly in my new theme. Using the FTW 2.0 as a base theme, I’d be adding a better background, add the RSS chicklet and a spanking new banner/logo.

I’m getting a little over my head. XD I still have a lot to learn to be able to get the theme I want. I really need to review my wavering knowledge of CSS since I’m going to be editing the numerous style sheets needed to get everything right. AND the greatest hurdle would have to my total lack of Photoshop skills. Good thing I bought a whole DVDs worth of Photoshop tutorials. Just don’t ask me where I bought it. I’d hate to lie about it. Harsh Reality. XD
Next Steps
Hopefully by the end of the month, I would be finished with my theme and be ready to aggresively spread my linky love! Hah! Of course, on top of the link love list would have to be my first blog, Yummy Silicon Chips. Dunno if I should merge it eventually or keep it as is. My Fans! XD
