I love the BloggingPro theme! It looks Web 2.0-ish, it’s got colors that are easy on the eyes and looks simple and clean. But being an obsessive compulsive tweak freak, I wanted more! Having a great FREE theme wasn’t enough, NOOO! Just looking at the BloggingPro site itself puts in me in uncontrollable fits of jealously!ﾂ The site has a cool banner and a big ass Adsense leader banner! Gotta have it!

CSS Tweak – Copy/Paste

So I went exploring the BloggingPro website to check if anyone got around to modding their site to match the site layout itself. I skimmed through the 500+ comments and found nothing but trackbacks, pingbacks, the usual comments and requests on how to mod their sites. Then I caught a glimpse of the BloggerPro author (or administrator, dunno) David Peralty’s comment that the code is plastered all over the site, people just had to look! And he was right! Doh! CSS documents are public documents genius! AND Wordpress themes are no-brainers either! Digging through the code was fun, it was just a matter of matching the tags and logical deduction. The BloggingPro CSS is thankfully immaculate, self documenting class names make everything so easy. Thank you Elena.

New Banner! Text Banner! Awww!

My banner doesn’t seem like much, but I think it goes well with the minimalist look of the site. Now my site looks like a total rip-off of BloggingPro. Wahaha! But I think it’s something like a Master Gai and Rock Lee thing if you guys are familiar with the Naruto anime. Like master, like student! Yeah!
