After registering for the Pantene Blogger Party (first seen from Aileen Apolo’s blogspot) I was so pumped that I rushed to Netopia after work to print out blogger cards to give away! Which unfortunately did not happen, because no one gave away their cards. Haay… But more on that later.
After printing, I quickly rode the MRT and transferred to the Orange Jeepneys to get to SM Mall of Asia (MOA) and arrived at exactly 7pm! Good thing the Orange Jeepney terminal was relatively close to the SM Hypermarket which saved me from walking the whole length of MOA to get to Taste Asia!

I thought Taste Asia was just one restaurant but quickly found out that it spanned the whole outer side of SM Hypermart! So I quickly freaked when I saw a lot of Taste Asia’s! But that feeling quickly dissipated when I saw this burly bouncer telling some people off and asked them if they were bloggers. I found it! Yeah!
I quickly made myself comfortable after registering. I also got this sticker with my name on it. The only freebie for the whole night (for the guys). LOL! Not knowing anyone in the local blogosphere sucks. I didn’t have anyone to talk to for the whole night and no one seemed to be exchanging blogger cards… Waste of P200 pesos for the computer rent and vellum. Things started to look up once the buffet opened. Food at last! I wasn’t too hungry and I didn’t want to eat too much since my swim ring, i.e my beer belly wasn’t in the best of shape. Hahaha! But food is food, and it’s free! Plus you can drown yourself with all the free drinks! Thank you Pantene, SM and Taste Asia! So I grabbed a plate and filled it up like so:

By 8:30 pm (or earlier, forgot the exact time) we were finally allowed into Taste Asia’s function room to officially start the program. We were greeted by the bubbly host (I forgot her name, sorry host) and she quickly read her lines about Pantene’s New 3 Minute Miracle Treatment and showed us some quick video segments about the treatment. Regular promotion. Blah Blah Blah.

My mind spaced back in when the host went into the crowd and started asking the blogger what they could do in 3 minutes. Most of them gave boring answers like brushing their teeth, putting clothes on, eating, etc., so the host quickly changed her questions to “what do you wish you could do in 3 minutes?”. This definitely elicited a lot more “uhh, ahhh, oohh” from the bloggers! Haha! After the interviews, the host called on a girl picked from the crowd to undergo the Pantene 3 minute miracle treatment. For free! And the prizes that were given away were the individual treatment tubes! If it weren’t for the unlimited cocktails and drinks, I would have left a lot earlier! Girls get all the luck…

Judy Ann Santos wasn’t very far away, the sight of her hired bodyguards gave her position away quickly and all of us raised our cameras in anticipation! Like any celebrity, she has a certain glow that tells you she IS a star.

Juday didn’t hang around too long though with her busy schedule and all, but she did pose for some lucky bloggers who where able to find tokens under the candle holders! I unfortunately didn’t get that chance. Haay.
After Juday left, the host quickly introduced the entertainer for the night, Pinoy Dream Academy Scholar RJ Jimenez. I wasn’t too impressed. He wasn’t too bad, but… but… Haay… At least I got to pose beside him. Hahaha!

I patiently waited for the party to official end with a cocktail in hand and still clutching my blogger cards… Another cocktail down and still no exchanging of blogger cards. Sensing it was time to go, I took the last pictures I wanted to take and finished off the remaining power my Energizers had left.
The taxi ride home was a peaceful. Yeah!
