Crysis Psycho Emo

Just bought myself a copy of Crysis’s parallel game, Crysis Warhead, a week ago to calm down my nerves a bit and expend the last fragments of energy that never seem to dissipate even after evening exercise. Warhead puts you in the shoes of Sgt. Sykes AKA Psycho the seemingly volatile soldier from the first game. But after pacing through the whole game in under 12 hours, Psycho can be so annoyingly EMO! Ugh!

The story wasn’t too bad, at least you get to kill more soldiers instead of aliens until the end. Unlike the original Crysis, where you spend half of the game killing aliens.

New Weapons: AY69 and the FGL40

There are a total of two new weapons: the AY69 micro machine gun, and the FGL40 Grenade launcher. The AY60 is currently my new favorite weapon! Although the game manual states that it’s primarily used for close-combat, it’s effective enough to take out baddies at medium range using short bursts of course! And it’s a DUAL-WIELD! Nuff’ Said! The FGL40 is a decent weapon, but like the other high powered weapons in Crysis, ammo is rare and the situations that allow you to use the FGL40 are rare. An exception to this is the Gauss Rifle, ammo is plentiful and there loads of suckers to snipe in the latter levels! An ultimate weapon is also usable, but again, only in the last level. Sad…

Just Plain Wrong!

Here’s something Crytek got very wrong. Three words Crytek: BETTER ANGLE PLEASE!

Starcraft 2 Update

Blizzard annouced during the BlizzCon that they would release Starcraft 2 as a trilogy! Trilogy = 3 separate games = More expenses! Noooo! The Trilogy would consists of these three titles:

  • Terrans: Wings of Liberty
  • Zerg: Heart of the Swarm
  • Protoss: Legacy of the Void

I only hope that the three races would be available for use in multiplayer in the first release! For more info read Atmaxplorer’s Starcraft Trilogy article!
