We all love Really Simple Syndication (RSS) Icons. I do anyway. 90% (I’m guessing :p) of blogs have them littered across it’s front pages. RSS feeds gives readers an alternative way to read a blog’s contents from a common aggragator like Google Reader or FriendFeed and can be slapped with AdSense for extra income. RSS Icons immediately point readers to your feed and is one of the most effective ways to increase loyal readership. I’ve been using the Wikipedia RSS Icon for quite some time, but decided to replace it after seeing Matthew Inman’s hot RSS icons!
The above and many more are FREE from Matthew Inman’s site. The Icons are distrubuted via a ZIP file containing both the JPEG and PNG files of the Icons and a big JPEG containing all of the Icons in one file. Talk about generous for the uber crisp and professinal looking Icons. Again, it’s FREE!
