I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and New Year pig out, I mean holiday! I’m not much of a party goer and I like staying at home were it’s safe, quiet and filled with my cat’s fur.

My new PSP 3000!

Back to a more tangible gift, my parents gave me a Playstation Portable or more commonly known as a PSP for you cave men! Unfortunately, unfortunately… They gave me a PSP 3000 or to be specific, a 3004… And that can be a problem for us cash strapped fellows, since the only games it could play are games from expensive UMD’s… The 3004 can NOT be downgraded… Yet!

Downgrading is hacking the PSP’s software to enable it to read game images from a memory card. Meaning no more expensive UMD’s. The previous PSP models, the 1000 to 2000 series, were hackable via a special battery and some programs.

I’ll just have to wait a few more months for the 3000 series hack… Bought the Warhammer 40K Squad Command UMD to put my PSP to use. *sigh*

Next up: FarCry 2 and Fallout 3 reviews! Oh, and photos!
