Lesson Learned: 6/49 winners are 1/13,983,816 lucky

It’s official… There are 2 winners in the Philippine 6/49 SuperLotto. The winning combination is 06-34-20-26-12-33 and the pot Php 347,836,903.20, which is approximately $7,216,572.23 (usd to php @ 48.20).

I only got the number 26… I also researched on the probability to get six digits and here it is: 1/13,983,816.
According to Dr. Fred M. Hoppe, it’s like obtaining 24 heads in succession when flipping a fair coin!

Yeah. The probability is way too low. Whenever, I’m tempted to buy a ticket I always remind myself of the probability…

If the probability isn’t zero, there’s always a chance! ;p
