I really don’t get why Filipinos defend their favorite actors or TV networks with such abnormal zeal and waste their time fighting other zealous fans! Just browse through any Filipino glossy showbiz magazine SMS section (or even blog comments! Techy!) and you’ll know what I’m talking about. Fans bickering over who looks better, who’s more compatible with who, dissing other competitor actors and actresses, etc. 

Another thing I don’t get is why fans criticize the way actors and actresses (especially the actresses) look, who they choose to be with, how they act on and off set and the like. Feeling close? C’mon! Insecurites, no doubt. Trying to project themselves into the actors and actresses lives? Maybe. Annoying? Definitely.

Get over it people! Pacquiao! Woohoo!
