La Mesa Eco Park, Flickr Pro and The Daily Inquirer

I went “tree-planting” at the La Mesa Eco Park 2 weeks ago as part of Fujitsu Ten’s drive to help the environment. In truth, I got lost trying to find my office mates. I arrived about 30 minutes late and missed the assembly, orientation and the tree-planting itself! So I was left wandering around the park for almost two hours. Hahaha!

La Mesa Eco Park Butterfly

On the plus side, wandering around lost in the Eco Park gave me plenty of opportunities to take pictures and do a little hiking to lose some fat. The best part of my hike was finding a butterfly hatchery and seeing the butterflies (and moths) up close.

La Mesa Eco Park Horse

I also got to go boating and see some horses running about and giving horseback rides. The whole trip wasn’t so bad considering that I wasn’t able to plant a single tree!

For those who plan on visiting the park, it really really helps if you bring your own food/drinks and just picnic. The food available in the park can easily reach the P100-200 price range.

Here are my photos from the La Mesa Eco Park tree-planting. Enjoy:

Upgraded to Flickr Pro!

I just upgraded to Flickr Pro! Yehey! $25/year isn’t a bad deal considering the perks. No more 200 photo limit!

Moved Inquirre.net to TheDailyInquirer.net

I finally changed the ridiculous name of my news blog into something more substantial. I hope it improves my chances of finally getting into Google News!

For those still visiting Inquirre, you will be redirected to The Daily Inquirer automatically courtesy of the 301 redirect.
