I put learning CodeIgniter on hold for a while to take up another PHP framework – the Zend framework. I was actually forced by my coworker/freelance partner to take it up because he started learning Zend and coerced, I mean convinced me to learn it because we were going to use it as our freelance project backbone!

I love the BloggingPro theme! It looks Web 2.0-ish, it’s got colors that are easy on the eyes and looks simple and clean. But being an obsessive compulsive tweak freak, I wanted more! Having a great FREE theme wasn’t enough, NOOO! Just looking at the BloggingPro site itself puts in me in uncontrollable fits of jealously!ﾂ The site has a cool banner and a big ass Adsense leader banner! Gotta have it!

Two of the things I like the most! In one! Gundam and bricks! This is the RX-78 Gundam from Mega Blocks! It may look simple compared to the fancy looking Gundams today, but this is the first ever Gundam so it’s cool no matter what! This cool toy from Mega Blocks makes my eyes and mouth water… I wish I were in Japan… (The first Photo is taken from Danny Choo’s suberb gallery)

I always tell myself that Cosplays (Costume Play) events are one of many events that lure the nerds and annoying fanboys and inject their Nerdism (I know, not a word) into the populace. And I was right. The guys were all over the place! But unlike Magic the Gathering tourneys and events where nerdy guys dominate, Cosplays are (thankfully) counterbalanced with girls and women who like to strut their stuff and dominate in the Cosplay events and contests!
