Four Seasons Boston launches luxury long-stay suites
Four Seasons Boston launches 11 luxury long-stay suites in Back Bay, blending residential space with full-service hospitality for extended stays.

Four Seasons Hotel Boston announced the introduction of eleven apartment-style suites in the historic Back Bay district, a move aimed at travelers who require stays longer than a typical hotel night. The new City Suites Collection debuted in October 2026 and merges the convenience of full-service hospitality with the space and privacy of residential living. Guests can begin a month-long reservation at a rate of $30,000, a price point that reflects the luxury positioning of the offering.
The portfolio includes one-bedroom units named the Commonwealth, Sanctuary and Skyline, each providing a separate living room, dining area, and a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, and ample pantry storage. Two-bedroom options are represented by the Plaza Suite, which adds a second bedroom and larger floor plan. All rooms feature king-size beds, built-in wardrobes, reading lights, and glass-enclosed showers, while selected units showcase bay windows that open onto comfortable daybeds.
Boston-based Niemitz Design Group was commissioned to shape the interior aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the classic townhouse architecture of Back Bay and Beacon Hill. The designers incorporated decorative millwork, oil-finished wood flooring, and custom furnishings that echo the feel of a private home rather than a conventional hotel suite. Contemporary lighting fixtures and subtle color palettes complete the look, creating a seamless blend of historic charm and modern comfort.
The collection targets a range of long-term visitors, including corporate executives assigned to multi-month projects, university faculty conducting research, families in the process of relocation, and individuals accompanying loved ones for medical treatment. By offering apartment-style independence alongside hotel-level services, the suites aim to meet the needs of guests who balance professional obligations, educational pursuits, or health-related stays.
Residents enjoy unrestricted access to the hotel’s amenities, such as an indoor pool that overlooks the Public Garden, a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary gourmet coffee, refreshment pantries on guest floors, and a private terrace for outdoor relaxation. Dining options include the on-site Coterie restaurant, which serves a menu of seasonal dishes. The location on Boylston Street places the suites within walking distance of Newbury Street’s retail corridor, major universities, and leading medical facilities.
