Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced on September 15, 2026 that Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort will debut in December as an all-inclusive property, marking the brand’s first entry into Cancun. Owned by Grupo Diestra, the resort is located in the private, gated Puerto Cancun community. The property will feature 500 guestrooms, including 47 suites, all equipped with private terraces offering ocean or marina views. The design blends a contemporary aesthetic with open-air spaces to connect indoor and outdoor living. Select suites will have private pools, while Grand Club rooms grant access to an exclusive lounge with breakfast and afternoon cocktails. Guests will also encounter a public installation by artist Teresa Solar and find tiles designed by María Pizarro throughout the property.
